Our goal is to increase the number of donors who give to the Annual Appeal.

All donations are appreciated- and every amount counts!
We hope you would consider becoming a Sustaining Donor
Your monthly donation of $20 or $40 provides
Learning Community Charter School with the consistent, reliable support
we need to help make LCCS the best it can be.
All donations are tax deductible.
Every year, LCCS raises about $110,000 thanks to our families and other supporters, business and community partners, and granting agencies.
We do it with fundraisers large and small and donors who give at all levels.
All donations are tax deductible, and every penny counts!
With the help of supporters over the past five years we have:
-- Added hundreds of ChromeBooks for student use
-- Upgraded the building's computer servers
-- Upgraded the auditorium's lighting and sound system i
-- Replaced 54 windows in classrooms and common areas
-- Added security cameras and enhanced main entrance security systems

But the need is greater than ever. Projects looming on the horizon include:
-- Paying off emergency gutter cleaning and repair and boiler replacement
-- More than 38 other windows need replacing and the cafeteria ceiling needs renovation
-- Staff computers need updating and an additional 110 ChromeBooks will need to be replaced by 2020

How do we do it?
Fall-A-Palooza
In September we hold this street fair with games, crafts, music, performances, and more in Hamilton Park in downtown Jersey City
Annual Appeal
In the Fall, we ask parents and community & business partners to support the school through monetary donations
Genevieve's Sale * Square One Art Sale *
Around Holiday time, we sell from Genevieve's catalogues and LCCS keeps a percentage of profits. Students also participate in an art project program where they create works that are reproduced on products that friends and family can buy
Read-A-Thon * Book Fair
In February we have both our Read-A-Thon, where students collect pledges for reading hours, and we have our book fair, where we sell books and LCCS keeps a percentage of profits
Spring Gala
In March we hold our Spring Gala - a luxury evening with raffles, silent art auction, fine food and wine, live music and more
We are also grateful for the consistent and reliable support of
community and business partners like:
