Friends of LCCS - our Non-Profit
Friends of the Learning Community Charter School,
or FOLCCS, is our official 501c3 non-profit. FOLCCS was created in 2009 so that all money raised through fundraising could be kept separate from funds that come to the school from state and federal sources.
President - Lauren Schapiro
Vice President - LCCS Head of School, Colin Hogan
Managing Member - LCCS Development Director, Marc Mulholland
Treasurer - LCCS Comptroller, Melissa Megaro
Secretary -
Parent member: Joanna Raeppold
Parent member: Katie Pavia
FOLCCS funds are kept in a variety of interest-bearing accounts, and annually writes a check to support the school, and maintains a balance in case of emergencies. FOLCCS has a board of trustees that meets quarterly.
2023-2024 meetings (proposed) - 8:30 a.m. either in person in Mr. Hogan's office or via Zoom link

Parent-Sponsored Fundraisers:
Many LCCS parents have spearheaded their own independent events to benefit our school’s fundraising goals.
Parent sponsored fundraisers can take many forms, such as
a Stella & Dot jewelry party, student-run neighborhood bake sales, or cocktail parties with donations made for the school. For more information,
