"Leadership" Assembly
LCCS recognizes that intellectual development goes hand-in-hand with emotional, social and moral development. Because of this, students are taught to uphold our school's CIRCLE values:
Community
Independence
Respect
Courage
Leadership
Effort
Six times a year we take a moment to explore each of these values, and recognize students who embody these traits with their friends, their teachers, and their community.

Another way we celebrate our CIRCLE values is through our House System. All students K-8 are sorted by homeroom into one of six "Houses" named for our CIRCLE values. (think an LCCS version of Hogwarts.)
Each house includes a combination of classes and teachers from those grades so younger students are grouped with older ones. At House meetings, students and faculty celebrate achievements of house members, set personal and academic goals and learn their house cheers, song, and secret handshakes. We've seen how this fun program generates excitement and passion for learning and excelling, both through one’s character and in academics.
