The call has gone out and our community is responding. In just 14 hours we’ve raised more than $14,000. THANK you so much to everyone who has donated and shared!
GREAT NEWS – We met our $5,000 SILVERMAN Building match - a huge thank you to Paul and Eric Silverman and to everyone who donated to take advantage of their incredible generosity! AND now our call has been heard by an Anonymous Donor who is going to match another $5,000 in donations!
Don’t forget the next Match Minute at 7:36 p.m. as well as the 50 State Challenge! If we have the most donations from outside of NJ we can win $500! PLUS there is the Pet Parade contest - does your pet have what it takes to be the next #HudsonGives mascot? Snap a picture and post to social media with #HudsonGives to enter them! We think Benny the Bunny from Prek has a pretty good shot!

Friends of LCCS, the nonprofit that supports LCCS, is one of more than 100 charities across Hudson County coming together on one day to fundraise. Any donation in any amount makes a HUGE difference - because #HudsonGives is not about the biggest gift - it’s about the community coming together.

For the past three years, LCCS has been on the top of the Leaderboard, and we can do it again with your help! Our goal is $50,000 and 350 donors. With #HudsonGives, we will launch our Building Fund, a long-range, comprehensive effort to meet the diverse and wide-ranging needs of our aging building.
We've got big reasons to ask.
Like all charter schools, LCCS receives far less in state funding compared to traditional public schools - and no line items of funding to address facility improvement and repair.
We have a $5,000 match thanks to SILVERMAN Building and if we have 350 individual donors we’ll unlock a $4,650 gift, thanks to our Donor Challengers, including First Choice Test Prep.
#HudsonGives also has prizes - if we have the most donors we can win $500. If we have the most donors from the most states, we can win $500. Donations made in the 60 seconds after 12:12 p.m. and 7:36 p.m. will be matched up to $25! Set an alarm a few minutes ahead to try to beat the clock! Last year we got more than $900 in matches!
