PTO
When your student starts at LCCS, you automatically become a member of the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). The PTO is made up of dedicated parents like you, all focused on enhancing your student's LCCS experience. We collaborate closely with the school to organize various activities, including the class parents program, enrichment opportunities for students, teachers, and staff, community events, and parent engagement activities beyond the classroom. Joining the PTO is a fantastic way to connect with other LCCS families and foster a strong community.

PTO Power Hour
The PTO "POWER HOUR" Monthly Meeting offers a platform for parents to voice their concerns and share ideas on how to support our teachers, students, and school. We alternate between morning and evening sessions to ensure that everyone has the chance to participate.
What does the PTO Support?
The PTO organizes various fundraisers throughout the year, including a fall movie night and multiple school dances.
The funds raised support several initiatives, including:
Fall:
- Back to school breakfast for staff
- PreK-K playground playdate
- Back to school happy hour for class reps
- Halloween dance
Spring:
- Ice cream social for teacher appreciation
- New family welcome breakfast
- 8th grade graduation decorations
Ongoing:
- Maintenance of the gardens in front of LCCS
- Book lending closet
- Library improvements
- Flower fund for teachers
