Ms. Das
 

Students in the Dungeons & Dragons Gaming Club play Dungeons and Dragons and other roleplaying games with grade-level peers. Dungeons & Dragons Club is open to students in 5th-8th grade. 

Ms. Silver

Students in Early Morning Singers (EMS) perform at school concerts and public events in Jersey City. Early Morning Singers is open to students in 4th-8th grade.  

MX. YUMIGUANO

Students in the Finance & Investment Club learn about the stock market and engage in investing simulations. Students also learn the basic concepts of finance. Finance Club is open to students in 7th and 8th grade. 

Mr. Sardison

Students in the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) plan programs to raise awareness of LGBTQI issues such as the Day of Silence, etc. The GSA is offered to students in 6th-8th grade. 

Ms. Wright

Students in the math club lead a  math tutoring program and compete in the regional middle school math competitions (twice a year on the weekends). The math club is open to students in 6th-8th grade. 

Ms. Carr

Students in Mock Trail prepare and prep documents and compete in the Hudson County Mock Trial program. Mock Trail is open to students in 6th-8th grade. 

Ms. Larsen

Students in the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) complete community service and help lead events for the community and school. Students must qualify and be asked to join NJHS. The NJHS is open to students in 5th-8th grade. 

Ms. VanDerHorn

Students in the School Newspaper Club create articles and publish a newspaper. The Newspaper Club is open to students in 4th-8th grades.

Mr. Lee

Students in the Science Club explore topics of interest of ecology, zoology, and astronomy. Students will have the opportunity to participate in and conduct experiments. Science Club is open to students in grades K-2 and 3-5.

Students in Spanish Club lead enrichment activities for the LCCS community. Spanish club is open to students in 6th-8th grade. 

Ms. Betancourt

Students in Peer Mediation are trained and help with resolving low level conflicts with fellow students in 5th-8th grade. Peer mediation is open to students in 6th-8th grade. 

Ms. Carr

Students in the Podcast Club will participate and learn how the podcast for the LCCS community is created.  Podcast Club is open for students in 6th-8th grade.
