We read, write, build, experiment, sing, laugh,
estimate, vote, paint, share,
practice, count, play, explore, measure, draw,
explain, wonder, discover, and learn!
My name is Meghan Yager and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! Kindergarten is a year full of exploration, play and investigation. Our program at LCCS enables children to develop a sense of curiosity, growing independence and community.
This is my second year teaching Kindergarten at LCCS. I graduated from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and from Hunter College with a Master's Degree in Childhood Education. I grew up on Long Island and visit often! When I am not at school I enjoy running, the beach, skiing and anything outdoors! I also enjoy walks along the Hudson River with my dog, Scout.
I am looking forward to an exciting (and very unique) school year. I am also looking forward to working closely with your family to enable your child to reach their full Kindergarten potential!
