Learning Community Charter School offers its students a wide variety of after school enrichment activities. The after school program is called Think Tank and is available daily from 3pm to 6 pm and 12:20pm to 6pm on 1/2 days. The program provides homework help and offers a variety of clubs taught by parents and community members.
The year is divided into trimesters, and each session lasts about 12 weeks. (Think Tank is also available for a small fee on a daily basis as needed and with advance notice.) There is a sliding fee scale for the sessions, so no students are left out of the program. Once a student is enrolled in Think Tank, there is no extra charge for clubs and activities. Snack is provided daily.

Unless otherwise noted, clubs have an enrollment limit of 12. Clubs fill up quickly, and we make every effort to enroll students in the clubs they want. Clubs are not filled on a first come, first served basis but every effort is made to ensure students can be enrolled in at least two clubs per session. Students will attend Homework Helpers when they are not participating in a club.

Homework Helpers
Meeting Time: 3 - 6 pm
Description: Homework Helpers is the place where students are gathered when not involved in a club or other activity. Students are grouped by grade; Each grade up to 5th has their own room. There they get help with homework and may play quiet games and talk when done. Students are taken outside when weather permits for supervised play as soon as possible when homework is done. The gym or the auditorium are also used for recreation after homework is done.
